			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This morning, the Coalition&#8217;s Executive Director, Joel White presented at <em>POLITICO</em>&#8216;s event &#8220;Tech Intersection: The Future of Health Care.&#8221; The conversations were primarily focused on the government’s role in encouraging innovation and protecting the future of health IT. Representatives from the provider, research and government communities were all part of the discussion. White was on a panel with Christy Foreman, Director, FDA Office of Device Evaluation, Farzad Mostashari, M.D., National Coordinator for Health IT, Department of HHS and Bradley Merrill Thompson, General Counsel, mHealth Regulatory Coalition.</p>
